Christiaan van der Klaauw CVDK Real Moon Tides

Today we present you with another the winner of the 0024 European Watch of the Year awards. During jury meetings of the 16th edition of the competition we evaluated more than 100 submissions, divided into six categories – four price categories for men’s watches and two price categories for women’s watches. The international 0024 readers also voted online for their favorite watch and here’s the people’s choice.

Reader’s Award: Christiaan van der Klaauw CVDK Real Moon Tides

Let’s try to be the voice of our voting readers: “This astronomical watch shows the unique complications of a rotating miniature moon and the sea level tides in a completely new fashion: waves move up and down in a special window to make the phenomenon visible. The dial is a very balanced composition with the tides at 12 and the 3-dimensional moon at the 6 o’clock position. The fact that the moon phase only deviates one day in 11.000 years is also a good reason to vote for this astronomical watch.”
