The Prancing Watches: Hublot and Ferrari

But why did GP or Panerai not succeed as well as Hublot seem to be doing? But why did GP or Panerai not succeed as well as Hublot seem to be doing?

With the latest Hublot Ferrari models out I realized that Hublot is seemingly having success with their collaboration with the Italian car-maker. Which is not something that could be said about neither the Panerai nor Girard-Perregaux, when they featured the prancing stallion on they dials. But why did GP or Panerai not succeed as well as Hublot seem to be doing? Well, I see three reasons.

One: Hublot owners drive Ferraris.

Two: Ferrari owners like Hublot

C: Hublot seem to really be into the cars, the materials used and even use the Ferrari watches as spearheads for new materials (Magic Gold) and functions (the seat-belt inspired strap attachment). And by promoting the Ferrari-models as top of the line, Hublot proves both pride and motivation, which I think Panerai lacked in promoting their Ferrari line as a secondary collection. GP did even worse as their Ferrari watches didn't differ much from the normal stable horses (pun intended) of their collection.

Three suggestion from me; what do you think?

These of course are just three suggestions from me. But let me hear from you, dear readers. What do you think about the Hublot Ferrari watches? Better than both Panerai and Girard-Perregaux's attempts?
