The New Lunova Chronograph by Mühle-Glashütte is a show-stopper

Sportive and yet elegant: The new Mühle-Glashütte Lunova Chronograph easily combines both features. The functions clearly define the design, as is always the case for Mühle-Glashütte. They also guarantee the characteristics that form the foundation of every Mühle watch: perfect readability, solidity and high precision.

Creativity is in the air! When creative minds come together to discuss the latest designs for a brand-new conference centre at an architect’s office, the sporty yet elegant Mühle-Glashütte Lunova Chronograph takes centre stage. With its combination of polished and brushed surfaces, the case of the watch exudes pure coolness that perfectly complements its dark black face. The fact that the designs need to be submitted to the customer by Friday means that the architects are bound to a tight and ambitious schedule. Nevertheless, this, of course, is no problem at all thanks to the Lunova Chronograph. While its wearers bring their creativity and motivation to the forefront, their trusty companion, namely the Mühle watch on their wrist, uses its weekday display to remind them at a glance that they still have three whole days to make changes and corrections.

MU 9413 automatic movement

The fact that there is more to this sporty approach than meets the eye is confirmed by the watch’s MU 9413 automatic movement, which guarantees the robustness that is typical of Mühle products thanks to its patented woodpecker neck regulation. All of these highlights are accompanied by three totalisers and date and weekday displays at the three o’clock position, which round off the sporty yet elegant overall appearance of the stunning Lunova Chronograph. The hands and numerals are coated in Super LumiNova, their shine is brought to the fore by the double anti-glare sapphire crystal and the anthracite dial with gradation. Combined with the sportive yet elegant, mostly polished case, these features demonstrate the inspiration behind the name: The first part of the name comes from the Latin word “lumen”, meaning shine, light or bright. The second part is inspired by the Latin word “novus”, which can be translated as new, fresh or young.
With the Lunova Chronograph, the family company from Glashütte proves how sportiveness and elegance can perfectly complement each other.
