Speechless: watch and enjoy these ladies watches

The J12 XS is available in white and black

Not words but watches. When it’s purely about beauty, when complications are conspicuous by their absence, that’s when we look at colours, materials and shapes. And that’s when it’s advisable and wise to keep silent. ‘Watch and enjoy’, is the motto.

Chanel:  The J12 XS is available in white and black, with and without diamonds and with different types of straps. •  Gucci: The new Le Marché Des Merveilles series is a fashionable addition to the existing watch collection with three striking dial colours: turquoise blue, malachite green and coral red, surrounded by a 38mm PVD gold case. • Hermès: The famous Cape Cod is 25 years old and that is a good reason for a host of new versions in a range of colours. Here are three variants. • Glashütte Original: the Lady Serenade is an elegant lady from the vicinity of baroque Dresden. Glashütte, to be precise, and that guarantees pure quality. • Ebel: This year the historic Villa Turque in Ebel’s birthplace La Chaux-de-Fonds will be 100 years old and the brand will have owned the monumental house for thirty years. To celebrate this the limited-edition La Maison was designed. A round case containing an oval shape is a direct reference to the architecture of Le Corbusier, the world-famous designer of the villa. • DeWitt: The rose gold Alma is available in a small and a medium variant. The watches have their rounded shapes, sophisticated dial and the presence of sparkling gemstones in common. • Harry Winston: the Rosebud Heart is a romantic piece of watch jewellery in which showing the time is of secondary importance. Wear this creation as a necklace or around the wrist; brilliantly heart-warming. • Roger Dubuis: the Velvet Diva collection includes a diamond watch, but also a necklace that turns every woman into a diva. Precious and exclusive and glamour in quadruplicate. • Piaget: In the film ‘Jackie’ actress Natalie Portman plays the wife of President John F. Kennedy. In her day this iconic woman wore an oval Piaget and therefore so does Portman in her title role. Piaget revived the yellow gold watch with green jade, diamonds and emeralds for the film and it is now part of the current collection. • Breitling: the Chronomat 38 SleekT with diamonds on the bezel is probably the best dressed pilot’s watch in the world. Functionality at its best – this watch is a chronometer certified chronograph – and dressed in the best materials – steel, mother of pearl and diamonds. • Pequignet: the Attelage is a watch obviously inspired by equestrian sports. The Attelage collection uses a unique system in which straps are quickly and easily swapped without the need for tools. The rectangular case is available in polished steel or gold-plated in yellow or rose gold. There is also a version available with 18 diamonds on the bezel and 11 diamonds on the indexes. Each watch comes with two straps.
