Danish Design watches are appreciated world-wide. In South Africa this trendy quality brand is a great success, symbolized by the co-operation between Danish Design and top level soccer club Ajax Cape Town that started this season.
Recently the annual Ajax Cape Town gala-evening was organized. Danish Design distributor Jagadi sponsored the event and presented the latest models. All players and members of staff received a 400 Rand (400 euro) check and were presented with a Danish Design watch (model IQ62Q888). Former coach Foppe de Haan, former goalkeeper Hans Vonk and young star Thulano Serero (now contracted by Ajax Amsterdam) were among the lucky recipients.The co-operation between Danish Design and Ajax Cape Town has raised the visibility of the watch brand significantly, contributing to a 10% increase in turnover. This is one of the reasons stronger support of the soccer club is now being planned for the next season, including the possibility of shirt advertising, billboards and other advertising in Ajax Cape Town’s stadium.
