00/24 WatchWorld NORTH AMERICA! A huge step for us, a giant step for the watch world
When we started with the Dutch edition of 00/24 WatchWorld (called 00/24 Horloges) in 1999, we always envisaged our magazine to become truly international. Five years ago we published our first UK and Scandinavian edition, 00/24 WatchWorld. So here we are, publishing our magazine in three editions, serving seven countries. And with our international website, digital publications and newsletters we serve the entire world.
Today we are very proud to announce 00/24 WatchWorld will also be published in North America. The first issue will appear in December 2011; initial circulation will be 20.000 copies. This fourth edition of what is already Europe’s most important watch magazine (European circulation is over 50.000 copies!) will be produced in the same way as the UK and Scandinavian editions. This means internationally oriented articles will be accompanied by North American stories. 
We are very happy that Gary George Girdvainis has joined our team as publisher and American editor of this new edition. For the last 21 years Gary has been with iW – International Watch Magazine. In recent years he was the Editor-in-Chief and Group Publisher directing a staff of 12 members responsible for all aspects of magazine publishing both in print and online.
