The Breguet Classique Tourbillon 5367 utra-thin is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful classic Haute Horlogerie watches at Baselworld. It is not only one of the slimmest tourbillons (7.45mm), but the 2018 edition of the model is also designed with a ‘Grand Feu’ dial.

The blue hands make a very nice and classic contrast with the color of the enamel. The watches, perfectly finished to every detail, are available with a 42mm 18-carat rose gold or platinum case. The bridges, barrel and oscillating weight are hand-engraved. During our meeting with Breguet at Baselworld, we were told that it takes two delicate ‘Grand Feu’ dials to make one watch. The hard but fragile material, even when it is edited by the highly specialized masters of Breguet, breaks down when freeing a very fine recess needed for the horizontal bridge of the tourbillon at 5 o’clock. The watch has a self-winding, extra-thin (3mm) movement, Caliber 581 with 80-hour power reserve. Straps made from alligator leather with golden or platinum folding clasp.

When we started publishing our first high-end watch magazine in 1999, we had only one intention: increasing the popularity of high-quality mechanical watches. Now, many years later, this has not changed at all. In 2017 we have reinvented ourselves to serve our readers in a different and better way. Starting in 2017, the new 0024 is again better equipped to interact with the changing world of high-end watches. The new 0024 HORLOGES magazine (written in Dutch) will be at least a 200 pager: that’s twice the volume of our magazine in the old days.
