F.P. Journe unveils watch for Only Watch: the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante Bleu

Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante Bleu

F.P. Journe has developed an entirely new watch exclusively for Only Watch. It is a unique watch that will never exist in the F.P.Journe collection. The watch is unique, the dial is unique and the case is unique. Here’s the F.P. Journe Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante Bleu.

A case in Tantalum of 44 mm. A pusher at 2h for the chronograph. A pusher at 4h for the rattrapante (split-seconds). A movement of 15 lines in 18K rose Gold, constructed in the purest horological tradition, each lever and spring is mirror polished, featuring a long autonomy of 80 hours and make it possible to use the chronograph and the split-seconds efficiently after 2 days. A blue chrome dial adorned with an unusual topography and adorned with vivid colors. While we look at this work, one can say that horology is sometimes a major Art! Only Watch is a Biennial charity auction of unique timepieces created by the finest brands united for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The auction will be held on Saturday 11 November 2017.

When we started publishing our first high-end watch magazine in 1999, we had only one intention: increasing the popularity of high-quality mechanical watches. Now, many years later, this has not changed at all. In 2017 we have reinvented ourselves to serve our readers in a different and better way. Starting in 2017, the new 0024 is again better equipped to interact with the changing world of high-end watches. The new 0024 HORLOGES magazine (written in Dutch) will be at least a 200 pager: that’s twice the volume of our magazine in the old days.
