GoS celebrates 10th anniversery with a Watchuseek edition

Watchmaker Patrik Sjögren and master bladesmith Johan Gustafsson met 10 years ago and the brand Gustafsson & Sjögren was born! All the more reason to celebrate the brand commonly known as GoS Watches. The concept was based on the wish to manufacture exclusive watches orginating in Swedish craftmanship and morover to intergate themes of Swedish history and the touch of Swedish nature. The celebration starts with introducing a 5 watch Watchuseek edition of the GoS Sarek.

This year, it is 10 years since master watchmaker Patrik Sjögren and master bladesmith Johan Gustafsson first met and laid the foundation for Gustafsson & Sjögren, more commonly known as GoS Watches. GoS labled themselves as “Kings of Damascus steel in horology” and have established the pattern forged steel as an accepted exclusive material in the watch world. GoS introduced the use of Damascus steel in their exclusive models during Baselworld 2016.

Watchuseek collection

GoS announces this milestone by announcing a 5 watch collaboration with Watchuseek. Watchuseek founder Ernie Romers, featured GoS from day one and a longtime relationship started. The Watchuseek edition of the men’s Sarek watch is a tribute to this collaboration. The 5 watch Watchuseek edition of the GoS Sarek is available in multiple color alternatives and is distinguished by its custom engraving on the hand finished rotor. The watch box is newly designed made form solid walnut, designed by Go Sand crafted by Kanevad wood artisans. A newly published photo book that portrays the beauty of the Swedish Lapland adds an interesting extra in the presentation.
GoS updated the logo with the blade of the ‘G’ and the hourglass shape of the ‘S’ more pronounced. The idea of hot steel shpaed when it by a sledge hammer is all over the design, and has been re-shaped to also resemble the air hammer, which Johan Gustafsson use in his smithy.

News for ladies

GoS will present their first ladies watch as the main attraction form GoS during Baselworld 2017.
