H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity: wrist-size Aurora Borealis

H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity

After Funky Blue comes an even more psychedelic watch in Cosmic Green. This latest colour, reminiscent of the illusive Northern Lights, is featured on the 43mm Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity. The watch is glowing illustration of the minimalist philosophy that ‘Less is More’ with a dial that has no logo and features only the 4 main indices.

There’s something in the water of the river Rhine that flows near the manufacture of H. Moser & Cie.. That something causes the people at Moser to come up with most radiant of dials. It’s like these colours are the products of spaced out brains or something. Anyway, apart from a celestial colour, the H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity features indices at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The logo is absent, demonstrating the power of the watch itself: one glance at the fumé dial is enough to recognise the characteristic aesthetic of an H. Moser watch.

Limited natural phenomenon

The miniature Aurora Borealis on the wrist comes to life thanks to a domed sapphire crystal, the slender bezel and the generous 43mm diameter. Inside the white gold case beats an HMC 327 handwound manufacture calibre which beats at 18,000 Vib/h and is visible through the sapphire case back. The movement has a power reserve of at least 3 days which is shown in an indicator on the reverse side of the watch. The Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity Cosmic Green is available in a limited edition of 50 pieces.
