Hublot and Harrods’ perfect fusion

The newest Hublot Classic Fusion has a new outfit and goes by the name Hublot Classic Fusion Blue 45mm Edition Harrods. This timepiece is born out of a collaboration between the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer and London’s iconic luxury retail store.

Hublot is known for creating special edition timepieces in partnership with celebrated names, so this collaboration with Harrods is no surprise. The brand is also famous for using materials such as ceramic and titanium, and used the last one for creating the Classic Fusion Blue 45mm Edition ‘Harrods’ timepiece. So this watch may not turn your world upside down at first, but it’s definately an elegant piece with a distinctive, cutting-edge design.

Beautiful blue

The Swiss brand fused titanium – a strong, tough, lightweight, anti-corrosive and hypoallergenic material – with the blue composite resin used in a pair of bezel inlays at 3 and 9 o’clock. The blue theme continues in the blue sun-ray satin-finished dial, and in the two blue straps supplied with the watch, one rubber, and the other rubber-lined alligator. The Classic Fusion Blue 45mm Edition ‘Harrods’, powered by the HUB1112 automatic calibre, distinguishes itself by the half-Arabic numeral dial. Normally, Classic Fusion dials have baton hour markers.

Exclusively available in Harrods’ Fine Watch Room from February 2016. Limited to fifty pieces. Price: £6,900.
