The name Skyracer is taken from the plane that flies under Breitling colours in the fabulous Red Bull Air Race.
Lighter, harder, stronger
The 45mm Breitling Colt Skyracer is a champion of lightness and sturdiness because of its case made of Breitlight®: a material 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel, yet significantly harder, while featuring exceptional resistance to scratching, corrosion, along with anti-magnetic and anti-allergenic properties. Big, black and …? Precise. No not precise as in Exactly but precise as in accurate. The Colt is powered by a thermos-compensated SuperQuartzTM Breitling 74 Caliber that is ten times more accurate than a standard quartz movement. It’s chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) too as all Breitlings are. The Colt Skyracer is also distinguished by its exclusive strap bearing various measurement scales. The wearer can easily remove a given strap section and use it as a measuring instrument, before refitting it just as smoothly.
