Just a few weeks after the launch of Montblanc’s new TimeWalker Collection at the SIHH, the maison starts a 5-year partnership with the Goodwood “Festival of Speed”. Goodwood has been the seat of the Dukes of Richmond for over three centuries and has become England’s greatest sporting estate. It hosts the prestigious Festival of Speed that has established itself as one of the greatest celebrations of car culture in the world.

Montblanc’s new TimeWalker collection will become the Official Timing Partner of the “Festival of Speed” as of April 10, 2017. Of all the motor sports, car racing is the one that has always had a tight link to the chronograph, and thus the history of competitive driving and performance timing are inseparable. With the capacity to capture and record time, the chronograph was part of some outstanding automotive sporting moments.

Spirit of racing

Minerva watches were the reference in the field of horological innovation, with numerous patents registered over the years in the domain of precision timers, creating a legacy of savoir-faire. From the case to the dial, from the movement to the complications, the new TimeWalker collection focuses on masculine energy and a vintage-themed style, while combining performance, innovation, great legibility and robustness. The Festival of Speed will take place from Thursday June 29 to Sunday July 2, 2017.
