Moser Warms Up For SIHH 2019 With The Pioneer Tourbillon

Moser Pioneer Tourbillon
H. Moser & Cie. is among the first to already introduce one of the models that it will launch at the 2019 edition of the SIHH. The Pioneer Tourbillon is a remarkable watch, as it is specifically designed for everyday wear and boasts a water resistance of 120 meters.

Moser Pioneer TourbillonWhile it features a contemporary case made from stainless steel, the dial follows Moser’s traditions in midnight-blue fumé with a sunburst pattern. Bold hands and numerals make reading the time a breeze, while the diameter of 42.8 mm is large without becoming oversized. The back of the watch shows caliber HMC 804, which is made by Moser in their own manufacture and is equipped with a double hairspring. Another notable feature is, apart from the refined finish of the movement, the 18-carat red gold oscillating weight.

All combined an imposing watch, and a perfect blend of haute horlogerie with everyday wearability, of which Moser will make 50 pieces only. While this watch will be introduced at the SIHH in 2019, we can already expect that the brand has more to come, and most likely even more impressive watches, as it is a tradition not to show your most important new introduction before the show actually starts.

When we started publishing our first high-end watch magazine in 1999, we had only one intention: increasing the popularity of high-quality mechanical watches. Now, many years later, this has not changed at all. In 2017 we have reinvented ourselves to serve our readers in a different and better way. Starting in 2017, the new 0024 is again better equipped to interact with the changing world of high-end watches. The new 0024 HORLOGES magazine (written in Dutch) will be at least a 200 pager: that’s twice the volume of our magazine in the old days.
