Rado Shines With New DiaMaster Diamonds

High-tech ceramics and diamonds are the perfect combination. That is at least the opinion of Rado, and they underline this with the new DiaMaster Diamonds. This new watch is available in several versions. All which feature a 33mm large ceramic case with a titanium case back. The diamonds are set on the dial and to ensure that you can perfectly admire them. Rado fitted this model with a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides.

Rado offers the new DiaMaster with either 24 or 49 brilliant cut diamonds on the dial, in a stunning asymmetrical design that works playfully with the date below it. A guilloche pattern also highlights the smooth center of the dial, which is crafted from mother-of-pearl in some models. The DiaMaster Diamonds is powered by ETA caliber E63.111, a high-end quartz movement that is as reliable as it is precise.

With this watch, Rado shows once more that high-tech materials can still result in a very elegant and timeless creation. Next to its modest diameter, they also kept the hight at bay, measuring only 7.8 millimeters. This further increases the wearability of this watch, as its weight is already low thanks to the use of the ceramic case and titanium case back.

When we started publishing our first high-end watch magazine in 1999, we had only one intention: increasing the popularity of high-quality mechanical watches. Now, many years later, this has not changed at all. In 2017 we have reinvented ourselves to serve our readers in a different and better way. Starting in 2017, the new 0024 is again better equipped to interact with the changing world of high-end watches. The new 0024 HORLOGES magazine (written in Dutch) will be at least a 200 pager: that’s twice the volume of our magazine in the old days.
