Rebellion must be the fastest watch brand on this planet. The name can be found on dials and on LMP1 cars in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). Competing with highly complicated race cars on Le Mans and building tourbillons are quite similar in the world of Rebellion.
The ultra-complicated Rebellion Predator 2.0 Regulator Tourbillon fuses racing cars and exceptional timepieces in a 30-piece limited series. Beneath the high-tech exterior of a modular and customisable case, this new Predator 2.0 presents two complications that are symbols of timekeeping precision and centuries of tradition: the regulator and the tourbillon. The latter rotates inside its carriage at 6 o’clock, a mechanical choreography version 2.0, to compensate variations in rate due to Earth’s gravity. The regulator-type hours and minute subdials at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock are set out like the instrument cluster on a racing car, while the centre hand counts precious seconds to the finish line.
The powerful engine inside the 48mm titanium, gold and carbon case that drives the regulator hours and minutes, large centre seconds, and date, is an automatic movement on a Télôs Watch P351 base. The Rebellion watchmakers put all 392 components in the right position making it beat at 4 Hz. This Rebellion can run 65 hours without ‘re-fuelling’ and is ready to race!
