Through the eyes of Omega

Don’t expect coaxial technology or chronometer precision from Omega’s latest collection. The new collection presented by the watch house is not a series of new watches at all, but a collection of sunglasses. Together with Italian company Marcolin Eyewear the Omega universe is being expanded to include both women’s and men’s sunglasses that will be available in Omega boutiques worldwide.

Two sizes and two colour variants are available of each model. The designers found inspiration for the sunglasses in the history of the watch house. Looking closely you can see flower patterns that have previously been used in the jewellery of the maison, the little claws are reminiscent of the Constellation, the flexible hinges are shaped like a crown and the deep black colour is strongly reminiscent of the ceramic Dark Side of the Moon Collection. So no chronometer precision, but the quality of the Omega sunglasses is extremely high. Scratch-resistant polarised lenses that have the Omega logo engraved in them are in no way inferior to the sapphire crystal that watches are fitted with. For the aficionado who wants the complete package.
