Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II: A touch of the wild

Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II

An updated version of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s ‘montre a tact’. The creation from 1789 made it possible ‘to feel time’. The new Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II – the latest tactile creation from the Le Locle based manufacture – makes it possible ‘to control time’ with the touch of your finger. That’s watch evolution.

Innovation is nothing new to Tissot. The company was founden by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Émile in 1853 and in the same year the company introduced the first mass-produced pocket watch as well as the first pocket watch with two time zones. The tactile T-Touch was first introduced in 1999. The fundament of the T-Touch innovation was the touch-sensitive sapphire crystal to control various functions like compasses, barometer, altimeter and thermometer.

(Urban) jungle-ready

The new Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II is ready for almost any adventure. Whether in hostile terrain in the wild or at the heart of the urban jungle, its battery can last up to a year without being recharged, thanks to its dial equipped with a solar panel and operating equally well with sunlight or artificial light. Available in military green or navy blue versions, the Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II merges into its environment like authentic camouflage gear. Ultra-light and hypo-allergenic thanks to its titanium case, it is fitted with a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel with luminescent compass rose. The comfortable and easy to clean silicon bracelet is equipped with a buckle serving to tie the watch to a rucksack.
